To get the Crimson Shroud, you need to fully upgrade the Metaglio Left and the Metaglio Right, both of which have 9 levels. This might also open the door to triggering off of ability damage though. The Crimson Shroud adds a bit of offensive utility in the form of retaliatory explosions as well as another defensive buff that caps the damage you take at 10, making you even harder to kill. Nonlethal damage is, technically, a form of damage. Edit: apparently the minimum damage is always 1, no matter how much armor you have. On the pro side: Abilities that trigger off of hit point damage exclusively tend to specify 'hit point damage', and Painful Stare just says 'deals damage'. Most of the time whenever you see me list "ECL X", it's generally the lowest ecl that you can get it. If you get 10 armor you essentially become immortal, as Crimson Shroud limits the damage taken to 10. Sap master rogue builds are very powerful when they work. in some situations they may feel their lives are in danger and switch to their real weapons, and that makes sense to me. using their lethal weapons to cause nonlethal works as normal, but they have options now. A better way to say that would be that nonlethal and lethal damage effectively stack. not killing damage, it’s attacking to incapacitate. so, all PCs will have their normal gear but will also be issued some nonlethal weapons, either saps, batons, or the like. The more lethal damage you deal, the less nonlethal you have to deal. If you find something I don't have, or have a new category, let me know. Lethal damage sets the value of their 'nonlethal HP'. It looks like they just deal damage normally but if you reduce someone to 0 they are knocked out automatically instead of killed. 3.) Unsure, Im not familiar enough with PF1 to say.
